Overview

Toolbox talks are short (5-10 min) safety briefings given to the workforce, usually at the start of a shift.

Sections

1. Topic: What are we talking about? (e.g., “Ladder Safety,” “Heat Stress”).
2. Key Points: Bullet points of the message.
3. Feedback: Did workers raise any concerns?
4. Attendance: List of names and signatures.

Why Record It?

It serves as evidence of communication and participation (Clause 5.4) and competence/awareness (Clause 7.3).
