- Monthly Production: Units produced, hours worked, or revenue.
- Monthly Consumption: Electricity (kWh), Gas (m3), Water (m3).
- Monthly Waste: Landfill (kg), Recycling (kg).

- Energy Intensity: kWh / Unit.
- Water Intensity: Liters / Unit.
- Waste Intensity: kg / Unit.
Why use intensity?
If your production doubles, your total energy use will go up. That doesn’t mean you are less efficient. Intensity metrics show the real performance.
